A Small Calgary Business

Tide & Spark is a small, woman-owned jewelry brand based in Calgary, Canada.

We design and handcraft our 925 sterling silver + freshwater pearl pieces right here in Calgary — from pearl selection to final assembly, every step is done by our own hands.

For our titanium steel + pearl and gold-plated brass + pearl collections, we work with trusted jewelry artisans in Zhuji, China. While these pieces are not handmade by us, every finished piece is carefully inspected before reaching you.

All our materials are hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin.

We believe in honesty, quality, and the beauty of real pearls — whether made in our Calgary studio or curated from our trusted partners.

Where Our Pearls Come From

All our pearls come from Zhuji, China — the world capital of freshwater pearls. We travel there regularly to hand-select each pearl, working directly with local farmers who have cultivated freshwater pearls for generations. We also have a dedicated team member based in China who helps us source and coordinate purchases throughout the year, ensuring a consistent supply of the finest pearls.

Our collection includes Edison, Baroque, rice, button, and near-round pearls in natural colours of white, pink, purple, and champagne.

No artificial dyeing. No treatments. Just nature's own palette.
